A simple insulating tile backer board for FLOOR application only. 
Made from an extruded polystyrene base and coated on ONE SIDE ONLY with a layer of fibreglass mesh embedded into a polymer cement surface, the boards are a cost-effective way of creating a thermal barrier between cold concrete, or wooden substrates and tiles.
Installation should be onto a continuous solid substrate material such as screed or structural panel with the coated layer facing up.
