Marmox Multiboard is ideal for many UK applications. In addition to being a premium lightweight tile backer board option, it is used for waterproofing, dry-lining and to provide thermal insulation. Installation beneath electric UFH provides a vast improvement in the efficiency of the system.
As a tile and shower backer board it provides an effective decoupling membrane to prevent tiles and grout from cracking due to horizontal movement in the floor. The unique patented surface of Marmox Multiboard allows heavier tiles to be safely and securely fixed to walls - up to 100 kg/m2 !
Because Marmox Multiboard is not affected by any freeze/thaw cycles it is also certified for external use. 
It can be used in outdoor applications as a tile backer board, and is very commonly used as a substrate panel for external render designs.
